With refreshing insights, author Kiersten Lortz encourages you to stop waiting for things to get better and to expect the best out of life—not for yourself but of yourself. Through inspired gospel teachings and personal experiences shared by women who have also felt stuck, you will be empowered to make the changes necessary to claim a more fulfilling and abundant life. Now is the time to transform yourself into a woman of industry and faith. By learning to eliminate negative influences, seek positivity, and create a life of productivity, you can find the strength to take action today.
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, even as you desire of me so it shall be unto you; and if you desire, you shall be the means of doing much good in this generation." D&C 6:8

Review:

I don't read a whole lot of non-fiction, mainly because when I read, I use that as my "escape" time. But it's always good to better oneself, and there are a lot of books out there that can help you reach that goal. This book is one of those. The author does a great job of motivating you to make needed changes in your life without making you feel guilty. (Well, not too guilty. I always feel at least a bit guilty when I read about things I know I should be doing but am not.)

The main thing she starts out with is determining your intent. Being specific, what do you want to change so you can be better? Throughout the years, I've visited and re-visited goal making, and the main thing we're told to do is write them down and be specific, otherwise it's not a goal, it's just a wish.

There are 10 chapters in the book, and each one goes over different areas of your life that you can work on to better yourself, such as Complacency, Fear, Personal Revelation, etc. I have marked a whole lot of passages in this book, and plan on revisiting it again and again.. Definitely a keeper.
