Book Description:

Problem number one: Maddy’s family is NOT at home. A surprise Christmas visit to Charleston only works if the family you’re surprising hasn’t decided to spend the holidays in Hawaii.

Problem number two: Maddy is stranded. There is snow on the ground in Charleston, a city that doesn’t even own a snow plow. Flights are grounded, and the power is out. Maddy isn’t going anywhere.

Problem number three: Bo Bradshaw, Maddy’s old high school crush, is stranded with her, and he is hotter than ever.

Rorie's Review:

This is a quick and easy read. It's predictable, but that's not a bad thing. Sometimes it's nice to just lose yourself in some mind candy for a little while. It was a little off-putting just how quickly the relationship developed between Maddy and Bo, but it is a novella, so I think it kind of had to. I tend to prefer stories where the relationship takes some time to build up and develop though.

Not gonna lie, I kinda wish the author had included the recipes for some of the cookies that Maddy made. Cookies are my kryptonite, and those sounded delicious! At any rate, if you're looking for a quick, easy, sweet read, this is one that you will want to check out.

Andrea's Review:

(Not So) Alone for Christmas is a cute, fast read. I like first love, second chances type stories, and liked the main characters.

I felt bad for Maddie as her plans kept getting messed up, but it all worked out well in the end.

This is an enjoyable novella that I could see myself reading again.
