I remember when this blog post came out on facebook. When I read it then it was powerful. Reading it again, this time with beautiful pictures to go along with it really makes you think.
"Marriage isn't for you. It's not about you. Marriage is about the person you marry." Isn't that great? Doesn't it change things? It definitely made me think twice about how I perceive my relationship with my spouse. Looking back I can notice patterns between the good times and the rough times. The focus on me or my spouse was different during those times. Isn't it crazy that it's that simple? For a selfish person like myself it is harder to implement that change, but it is great to have reminders like this to help me get back on track.
