Book Description:

Drew Westfall wants nothing more than to forget what he had to do in the name of "smart" business. Cutting off all ties with his parents—including handing over the entire contents of his trust fund to a charity—he takes off for Bridger, Colorado where his best friend has an extra room for him. It doesn't take long for him to realize that his business degree won’t do him much good in a town as small as Bridger, but he's broke and has nowhere else to go. 

Eden Torresi has every reason to wallow. Not only did she have to sell her house to pay for her mother’s medical expenses, but she also had to drop out of school and is in a relationship with a guy unwilling to commit. But Eden isn't the wallowing type. Instead, she chooses to spend most of her time taking care of the seniors at Silver Linings Assisted Living. When she learns that her boyfriend's new roommate is down on his luck, her caring nature makes her want to reach out to him and offer what help she can. But the more time they spend together, the more complicated things get, especially when the seniors of Silver Linings decide to play matchmaker. 

Tarah's Review:

This was a cute book. I loved both characters. Eden is sweet and nice and trying to move on with life, but finds herself stuck. Drew goes from riches to rags and has a lot of character. I really liked how he respected Jace enough to leave things alone even when he wants them really bad. I also really like Jace, but this isn't his story. That's one thing I didn't love. I didn't feel like everything with Jace was wrapped up. His story is next though, so I suppose I can wait. The old people in this story are a kick. So funny and pushy but full of love and trying their best to help. 

Content wise this is a clean romance. Just kissing, and almost kissing. I'd recommend this one.

Silver Linings is an excellent story! The romance was wonderful, and it has such great characters. The story is also quite touching at times, and I'll admit that I cried a bit.

I wasn't sure how the series was going to tie together, but when it came about I thought it was creative. The main character of this story was someone we met very briefly in book one, and even though I didn't feel a connection with him in book one, I was happy to discover who he'd been and how his story was unfolding.

I loved the cute old people and their funny personalities, and I loved Drew and Eden's goodness, and their sweet gestures toward others.

I was left wanting to know more about Jace, and what was holding him back. Thankfully those questions can be answered in the next book in the series.

This story is very sweet and clean, and I'd definitely read more of Kaylee Baldwin's books.
