Book Review:
I don't know what it is about me and animal books, but for some reason, I love 'em :) I won't let my family get a dog, but reading about one is just fine. Anyway, Fetching Sweetness is a cute fast read.
I thought it was an interesting angle to write the story having Rhett trying to find God in his life, and fully convinced that he is following His plan for him. Normally Christian books are about people who don't believe at all and somehow find God, or people who are strong in their belief and hold on. It was interesting to read about Rhett who was right in the middle there and was struggling to find his way to a belief that was new to him. I found it really refreshing.
It was a fun story line, with believable characters (ok, maybe some were over the top, but they were fun anyway) and a cute dog thrown in who has a penchant for spatulas. Plus, I really appreciated the ending :)
