Review:

The Husband Maker was a really enjoyable read. But, as a reader who isn't fond of sequel surprises, I am throwing it out there right up front that this story does not end. I didn't see it coming until I was almost at the end and knew that it wasn't going to be able to wrap up with the number of pages left. This didn't kill the story for me, but it was a disappointment since the next book hadn't been released yet. If you know it going in, I think you'll be much happier. And, the next book should be available this Fall, so at least the wait isn't too long.

There is a friendship in this story that is priceless. I loved the interaction between the characters, and even though the direction the story was heading seemed predictable, with the non-ending it wasn't. I still have ideas on where the next book is going to end up, but I am excited to read it.

This is a quick, clean read with some great humor.

Karey White grew up in Utah, Idaho, Oregon, and Missouri. She attended Ricks College and Brigham Young University. Her first novel, Gifted, was a Whitney Award Finalist. She loves to travel, read, bake treats, and spend time with family and friends. She and her husband are the parents of four great children. She teaches summer creative writing courses to young people and is currently working on her next book.
